Angel Protocol’s big hook is “perpetual giving.” Donations are split between “immediate” and “perpetual” accounts. The latter are held long-term to generate yields of up to 20%, ensuring continued donations to NPO organizations around the world. Angel Protocol has thus far raised over $6 million, with donations ongoing to more than 160 charities.

#4 UkraineDAO
Founded by Alona with support from members of Pussyriot, UkraineDAO initially raised $6.75 million through the auction of a Ukrainian flag NFT. Since then, the DAO has continued its fundraising efforts to support those affected by Russia’s invasion. In Alona’s words, it acts as a “point of contact” for people who want to help but don’t know where to start.

Decentraland is a sprawling virtual world where people can own property, estates and plots of land. The accompanying DAO manages the development of this world by putting power into the hands of those who live there. Perhaps more than any other, this DAO will shape the future of the Metaverse by being its first democratizing force.

Endaoment manages donations across charitable organizations. Its unique selling point is how it’s classed as a tax-exempt organization. Anyone who donates can deduct the funds from their tax bill. Using this model, Endaoment has so far donated over $30 million to 243 charities.
#7 The Big Green DAO
In its own words, The Big Green DAO believes that “growing food changes lives.” It funds projects around food security, food justice and food growth. As well as direct action, the DAO supports educational programs to ensure food security in the future.
