This week’s ArtDrop is made by DeltaSauce, an AI wordsmith and digital artist who you may have seen around. In this article, we get to know him a little better. Let’s dive right in, shall we?
Hello hello DeltaSauce! Blessed to meet you. Could you first tell us, where did your art career start?
I've been doing art since I was young. I took mostly art classes growing up in school, my main love has always been physical medium. Especially sculpting, woodworking, and model kits. I've always enjoyed having something to be tedious with, it keeps my mind preoccupied.

And now you’re making generative art. How are you creating your current pieces?
Nowadays I typically use Disco Diffusion, Midjourney and Centipede to make the first portion of my artwork. Using these tools I can conceptualize my words into prompts that the Ai can interpret. After getting an idea of where I want to take it, I will typically take the idea, and clean it up with post processes like Krita or Photoshop. Then if I want to take the piece a bit forward or do not like its current direction I will feed it back into the Ai as an initial image. It's honestly about having my hands on what the Ai is making and turning it into something a bit more polished.
In your works, which are spread out over various platforms, we see characters, landscapes, and more. Where does your current style come from and how did you develop it?
I'd say my current style stems from the fact that I am a big fan of movies, television, and music. I take a lot of inspiration when developing the world my characters and creatures inhabit. I've spent countless hours testing out ideas and places I want to take the world of Pathos.
What about NFTs? How did you end up here?
My friends actually suggested trying out NFTs with my abstract work, and honestly, they were my biggest supporters. They kept pushing me and told me to not give up when it was slow. So I've just kept working through the slow periods. I've learned a lot since coming into the space, and how perseverance is truly important. Along with sticking with honesty and integrity.
Any lessons you’d like to share with others?
The biggest lesson, I've learned is to just be yourself and don't conform to what others think of you. People will always have differing opinions of you, and that's something you are just going to have to accept. And don't let others bring you down, just focus on your goals, and aspirations.
