The project is a collection of 3,000 unique Gutter Cats, and each Cat will give the owner creative and commercial rights. This project has also drawn criticism as a copycat of the Bored Apes project.Â
âThe Gutter Cat Gang is a collection of 3000 unique Gutter Cat NFTs who live in the post-apocalyptic shatters of society on the ETH blockchain. Ownership includes creative & commercial rights of your Gutter Cat as well as initiation into the Gang.â
The Cats are set in a post-apocalyptic era where a gang of cats rule the earth.Â
âThe year is 2050. Humans are an interplanetary species and have all but abandoned the post-apocalyptic shatters of society on earth. Cats have taken over. One crime-ridden, nondescript inner city is inhabited by a group of cats collectively known as the Gutter Cats. This is their story.â
Each Cat is made up of 123 random traits and attributes, making some rarer than others. They are set apart through their background, eyes, mouth, shirts, hats, earrings, necklaces, and beards.Â
The project exploded off the recent success of Board Apes, selling out within 10 minutes. Although people were expecting it to sell out, at the time, it did was unexpected.
All 3,000 Gutter Cats sold out in under 10 minutes - an unprecedented demand that we did not expect. We appreciate the communityâs understanding of the audibles that were made in order to facilitate the fairest launch for everyone given the circumstances.

Unlike the Bored Ape sale, many big crypto influencers were speaking out against it. Many have drawn this project up to be a copycat project of the Bored Ape. But this might have had the inverse effect of what critics wanted; it gave the project a narrative as the Anti-Influencer NFT.Â
So @Loopifyyy is normally always wrong and is a noob but he got this right đ https://t.co/hWMnu6nuXW

With all of these avatar NFT collections coming out, you have to wonder how more of these will sell out? People surely canât constantly be buying these. Do people really want an infinite amount of avatars? But you have to consider this question is coming from a person who doesnât have a Punk, Meebit, Ape, and now a Cat.Â
