Coinciding with the movie's release on July 18, fans will have the opportunity to acquire Flash-themed NFTs on the Eluvio blockchain platform, with payment options available in both cryptocurrency and traditional fiat currencies. This move aims to attract both Web3 enthusiasts and mainstream audiences alike.
'The Flash Web3 Movie Experience' builds upon Warner Bros.' previous successful NFT drops, including 'The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (Extended Edition)' and the 'Superman Web3 Movie Experience'. As a special treat for owners of these non-fungible collectibles, namely DC3 tokens and DC Bat Cowl NFTs, early access will be granted to the Flash movie NFT sale.
Upon gaining access, fans can choose from two categories of NFTs, each accompanied by a unique key that unlocks an exclusive art piece featuring a different movie character.
These categories are as follows:
- The 'Mystery' edition: With a total of 10,000 available NFTs priced at $35 each, buyers will receive four keys, which, upon redemption, reveal stunning artworks showcasing Batman, Prime Barry, Young Barry, or Supergirl.
- The 'Premium' edition: This more exclusive option offers only 2,000 copies, priced at $100 each. Purchasers of these NFTs will receive a motion-based artwork featuring The Flash, Batman, and Supergirl on four interactive menu interfaces. Additionally, each owner of a premium NFT will be rewarded with a voucher for the DC NFT marketplace, a DC3 Super Power Pack NFT, and a selection of randomly assigned digital comics, some of which are rarer than others.
In addition to these exciting perks, all NFT holders will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the movie with exceptional 4K Ultra HD quality. Furthermore, starting from August 1, these digital assets can be resold on the WB Movieverse platform.
Warner Bros.' integration of NFTs into conventional movie distribution practices represents a thrilling new frontier for fan engagement. This move ushers in a new era of cinematic experiences, showcasing the pioneering spirit of one of the entertainment industry's largest and most influential companies.
